Anna – “I felt safe, and able to relax and focus on taking in the  profound teaching being offered.”

It is not easy for me to put into words my experience at La Finca, but here are some thoughts I had:

This was my first time experiencing a residential with this group, quite a long period, and in a foreign country, an elderly woman, flying alone, I was quite apprehensive. As it turned out I need not have worried.

From the moment I stepped off the plane, I felt really cared for. Every need I had was met fully, often beyond what was required. Even people with whom I could not verbally communicate because of different languages, were able to express their warmth and welcomed me into this little community.

If I had questions people were only too ready to be open to listening and responding.

So I felt safe, and able to relax and focus on taking in the profound teaching being offered. For a short time we lived and breathed A Course in Miracles. It is difficult to know the effect of spending that time with others similarly dedicated, but I feel as a result a firmer foundation in me for living in truth, and grateful to everyone who contributed to that.

Anca – “I absolutely loved the whole experience and the people with whom I could share it.”

An absolutely amazing retreat, where I got more in touch with God’s love.

Tim and his team creates the perfect set-up where you can get closer and closer to God.

Each of Tim’s retreats is an opportunity to go home back to God.

Jose – “I found the answer to my questions and understood.”

Well my prayer has been ‘what do I have to offer?’ In my smallness, what do I have to give?

Observing myself, I cannot recognize what I should be doing, what my abilities are, what I have to give and how to bring it about. My true abilities have their origin in what is real in my life.

Once at La Finca, and after Tim’s teaching that the only sure thing is, that as human beings we do not know anything, I found the answer to my questions and understood…

That the less I am doing, wanting and even feeling emotions, the more opportunity I will give to the real – to what is to become apparent. Yes, that is my will. Thank you.

“Can you to whom God says, “Release My Son!” be tempted not to listen, when you learn that it is you for whom He asks release? And what but this is what this course would teach? And what but this is there for you to learn?”   T-31.VII.15

Mary – “I have a certainty that I am moving in the direction of Truth.”

This was my third retreat at La Finca and followed an amazing retreat experience in the desert wilderness of Arizona, USA.

I seem to be reaching a greater acceptance of the paradoxes of the “journey without distance”.

I am perhaps maturing into a new determination and renewed dedication towards awakening to my own reality.

With that comes peace and a lot of joy.

Steve – “This has shown me I can go through the darkness to the light.”

This time, the experience of being at La Finca has left me with a stronger trust in God, the Holy Spirit and Jesus.

And some of the old ideas about these words have fallen away.

I felt this especially during the Blue Sky Gazing, as I had to go through a lot of distractions to come to a new experience.

Debra – “The teachings of the Course go deeper and deeper into my mind.”

The La Finca retreat experience is unique and different for me every time and this time my learning was how to communicate more effectively with my brothers in a world of no communication and that being of service is my only role.

The retreat is a removal from space and time – the light, love and the service to God are all intensified.

The teachings of the Course go deeper and deeper into my mind in this intensive experience thanks to Tim and Lambie and their teachings during session and outside of session.

The additions of the Blue Sky Gazing, meditations and noble silence expand my mind and are always gratefully received as a welcome break from the world. I am always changed, thankfully never to be the same again!

Juani – “Everything goes from black and white to colour.”

Everything is given to you from the very first moment you take the decision to give  it all. In fact, everything goes from black and white to colour as soon as soon as I take the decision to attend a retreat with Tim and brothers. Once at La Finca, everything transforms because I decide to let go any grievances through the eyes of joy.

Truth is truth and only Truth is true. I am the Light of the world. I am as God created me. I still forget these true statements and I don´t have enough discipline to keep it active all the time.

Going to these advents at the finca is still an imperative need for me to remember my true identity.

Ha, once I have had the experience,  there´s no way back. A true experience remains witihin me forever and goes with me wherever I go.

Carlos – “A powerful expression of transformation.”

Once again I am very grateful to have been able to share with my brothers these retreat days at La Finca.

They were a powerful expression of transformation. A demonstration that in the present each moment is totally new and free from the past if one is willing to hand over all burdens to the Holy Spirit.

Thanks to all who made it possible for this to take place with their different functions.

Scott – “Provided me with direct experiences from the Course.”

For me, the retreat I attended in September in Arizona was like the grand finale of a fireworks display, complete with a “ big” miracle, vivid meditation experiences, meaningful coincidences, and important realizations. I was quite enticed by it all. Enticed enough to follow this group from my home in Arizona to another retreat experience in Spain.

The retreat in Spain was an entirely different  Course in Miracles experience which included: development of trust; a completely different brand of meditation experience – intense but more personal and sublime; a trip down Darkness Lane where, as an opportunity, I looked at and offered my unholy thoughts to HS; accessing and being present with my true Self/HS as the solution to the perceptual problem; continuation of receiving significant realizations; and finally discovering the true meaning of forgiveness after being off-the-mark after 30 years of study and analysis of the Course.

Perhaps most importantly, both retreats provided me with direct experiences from ACIM rather than a mere discussion of it’s meaning. This retreat is now over, but I’m discovering that the retreat itself is a state of mind to be carried with me at all time. I hope my next stop is with the same group for the next retreat held in February in England. Hats off to this group. Thank you, All!

Gonny – “I felt an unconditional love for all my brothers.”

I don’t know if a retreat can or must be described.

What I do know is the experience I had on the last day.  I experienced a Holy Instant in which I felt an unconditional love for all my brothers. No differences, but total unity with everyone.

I have been able to bring this experience home and the growing desire to feel it towards all my brothers.

The recognition of Christ in Christ. What is better than that?

David – “I am appreciative beyond words.”

I found this retreat to be most powerful. Each of the several I’ve attended builds on the last, this one was no exception.

Nothing prepares me for the shifts I undergo, such is my dense egoic resistance.

I cannot pretend that I find this comfortable. As ‘stuff’ is brought to the surface and into the light, I suffer.

But I recognise that this is ‘the stuff’ I need to look at, indeed this is my stuff – my fears, and my baggage alone that I am hauling around in my internalised egoic mind.

I am appreciative beyond words to be given the recognition that it is my mind alone that requires healing.

I doubt that Christ will convey to me some sort of congratulatory message … ‘ah, you’ve finally woken up David, well done,  you were a hard nut to crack.’

This process, this shedding of all ideas of separation, of being a being in a body, the disposal of this fictional avatar David is not enabled because of resistance, it is given through surrender.

My sincere love and appreciation extends to all those who were there. Each one a facet joined in Mind serving a common cause, how lovely to see you all shine so brightly.

Similarly to Tim and Lambie for the uncompromising teaching they provide, thus the purity and clarity of Christ’s message is delivered, and my blocks to loves presence are removed.

‘I am as God created me. His Son can suffer nothing. And I am His Son.‘ (T-31.VIII.5.)

My experience in Tim’s retreat: “The Power to save the Son of God” is of complete gratitude.

I arrived devastated and felt that I was being saved.

It is a complete gift for me to have these moments to join brothers focused on the sole purpose of applying forgiveness to any judgment that appears in the mind. Moments of responsibility, inspiration and motivation.

Thank you for teaching me how to choose Love. Thank you for teaching me to discover the Power inherited from our Father.

The retreat was a deep and happy experience in the light of the Love of God.

Well for me the retreat has been a revelation and no matter what… it was the best place to be.

We had a fasting day where we just drank fruit juices and infusions and practiced a noble silence to keep the mind quiet.

Today… was a compelling day in much the same way. Back on a antioxidant fruit juice fast which was mixed with tonic water. (Helps with fast absorbtion). Just finishing off today, the only day there is, by reading the lost book of Thomas , by coincidence (not) and read this: “If you do not fast from the world, you will not find the (Father’s) domain.”  “Love your brother like your soul, guard him like the pupil of your eye “
